Google begins clamp down on pop-up ads

Google’s Chrome browser has been the most widely used browser for a few years now. So it has decided to flex is muscles and tackle websites that it believes are hampering user experience with “annoying online adverts” and popups. The latest version of Chrome is therefore going to block the worst offending pop-ups if the website owner doesn’t change their ways. If your site uses popups it might be worth checking you’re not on Google’s naughty list.
